The Balearic Groove Library collects the warm, wide-open sound of the Mediterranean and everywhere it reached. Hazy indie, dub echoes, unlikely cover versions, and whatever else sounds right as the sun drops below the horizon. Not a genre so much as a feeling.
Balearic has always been a permission slip. The original DJs in Ibiza understood that you could play almost anything if the mood was right and the sequencing held. The mixes here work the same way.
